Today was the first Sunday in Advent. I was going to link to something explaining what each candle represents, since all I could remember from childhood was that one was called the Shepherd Candle. A little bit of Googling showed that those names I couldn't remember were a fairly recent invention anyway, and it was just done to try to sell devotion booklets *chuckle*. So...nevermind :)
Advent wreaths are still pretty.
This afternoon was also the full dress rehearsal for the Boar's Head Festival. What a long day! I was exhausted by the end of it, but it was definitely a good learning experience. There was a little good-natured goofing around and some wrenches were thrown into the works (like the 5 golden rings for the 12 Days of Christmas disappearing), but the weak spots were addressed.
